Chekwamba was set up as the Security Advisory Council of Mbaise Global Foundation. After a Townhall meeting and several other meetings including with Traditional rulers and other stakeholders

(i) Chekwamba’s role will mainly be advisory and advocacy.

(ii) The MGF preferred model for other aspects of security in Mbaise is to set up a Security Company.

(iii) In 2022, the Board of MGF gave approval to set up a security company.

(iv) The security company will be an investment in which Mbaise people will buy shares and expect returns on their investment.

(v) The Advisory Council on Economic Development and Finance is working on the details of setting up the company.
